As I watch the moon rise tonight I'm aware of the way this companion of earth's journey through the universe affects, not only the ocean tides, but also anything composed of water, which includes plants, animals and us humans. Do you go out to gaze at the full moon... or notice it through a window? Do you feel any changing energy? How does that affect you? Hopefully, not to turn you lunatic! Well,you don't have to believe in astrology to understand that the symbolism of the Moon is strongly embedded in human consciousness... as celebrated in poetry and song.
Many people believe that this Full Moon in Taurus, linked to the date of 11/11/11 portends a momentous event or turning point in the human evolution of consciousness... and there will be a worldwide meditation... an opportunity to meditate, pray, or just consider the world situation. Whether you beleive in God, Allah, Jehovah, Spirit... or simply the power of the human psyche to expand and eveolve into something better than the brutish,savage and ignorant species that's been evident for too long.
Most people on this earth long for change... for Peace and Love to replace the fear, hate and vindictivenes that fuels destructive wars. We have it in us to make the change... to become a more humane race of humans... and the power is in each one of us. Yes, as we make the change in ourselves, WE BECOME THE CHANGE we desire in the world.
So why not take a little time tomorrow... Friday, 11th November 2011.... at 11 mins past 11... to be still and focus on what you'd like to see happen in the world... or any time you can make it during the day, for that matter.
